Q: Can I order custom music?
A: Maybe! While we would love to make every gymnast's floor music dream a reality, our music creation process is very slow and we don't feel we can do every song justice. Have time to wait on a song? Send us your idea and we will let you know if we can make it happen!
Q: Is the music legal to download?
A: Yes! All Salute Music tracks are licensed in accordance with US copyright law.
Q: Does the music have a start beep?
A: We are in the process of adding starting beeps to all of our songs. If your download does not include a beep, email us and we will add one for you.
Q: What if I purchased the the wrong length of music by mistake?
A: Let us know! We will send you the correct length within 24 hours (if not sooner!).
Q: I purchased a song, but now need a longer or shorter version. Do I have to buy it again?
A: No! We offer free length changes to the same individual that purchased the music (or gym if purchased by a staff member). Just let us know the new length you need and we will send it to you within 24 hours (if not sooner!).
Q: I don't see the length of music I need. Do you offer it?
A: If you love one of our songs but don't see it in the length you need, let us know on the Contact page and the requested length will be uploaded ASAP.

Q: Is your music approved by USAG?
A: USAG does not approve floor music. But all Salute Music tracks comply with the current USAG Code of Points. Additionally, Salute Music works closely with an active USAG level 10 judge (who is also a choreographer!) who vets our music and helps keep us up-to-date on rule changes.
Q: What length of floor music do I need?
A: Ask your coach! Gymnastics organizations provide different timing requirements for floor music used in their competitions, but your coach may have specific instructions. For example, some gyms prefer to use shorter music than allowed at each level. Less time spent on the competition floor = less opportunity for deductions!

UPDATE: XCEL Silver and Platinum time limits will change on August 1, 2026. The new Silver time limit will be 0:45 and Platinum will be 1:15.
